Have no problem with that. Flip the field and avoid a potential game changing INT.
I’m fine with playing it safe there. Don’t make a mistake deep. Punt it and play D.
Play D against the best offense in the conference when we have the momentum…

We got a first down wiped out for a penalty and were backed up 2nd and 25 and 3rd and 27. You punt the damn ball.
They’re gashing us easily every play for 5-7 yards
We didn’t even try to pick up yardage on 2nd and long, acquiesce to a punt, try to flip the field from our own 25, and they score on us in easy methodical fashion. It’s the same mindset to punt on 4th and 1 well inside the opponents territory and to not try to score with over a minute and a timeout.
It’s playing not to lose. We do it all the time. It’ll get us beat by a good team.
We just need to play within ourselves. UTSA will make some plays. Crowd will get loud. Just keep focused and move on to next play.
Oh and these announcers are bad.
