Even though Cincy will be leaving the building just as we are coming in, this has brought back memories of our battles from 95-05. Those were good times, and when I think of Cincy I remember Bearcat Nikki. Then I do the math and figure she is probably approaching 50 now. Things may have changed.

Marshall v Appy proved that FB schools win out on TV for that night, but what I am wondering is if this isn't more about corralling more subscribers in to ESPN+. Some of these new schools have very high enrollments and they they will surely have most of their games on ESPN+. I'm sure ESPN ran the numbers and future growth projections to justify these additions. I would have added UAB, Marshall, UTSA and Rice if I was told to stay away from ESPN properties. And Rice only gets in because of Houston and the egghead factor.

clt says the Charlotte v Cincy games were intense. Dicky V in the house, Diego talking sheet, cincy fans throwing basketballs into the crowd at fans.
