Once a few of these older coaches retire and they allow people to go straight to the NBA out of HS - the playing field Will be more level.
After the top 20 high school players, there’s a drop off. Even now some of them are going to the G league. Or overseas. That’s opening up the door for other teams like UC.

Then that coach would have to do it with walk-ons next year - most of the roster would transfer, and it would suck for the AAC.

Dude is 80 years old...I thought about him right off the cuff, but man, I just don't think that would work out well for a ton of different reasons. He has had recruiting violations at every college coaching job he has had, and Penny's work on James Wiseman is about to come home to roost down there soon enough.
