Went to the game last night… Tiger pitching was pretty good… except for 3 missed locations. Really thought the Kylan Stepter looked good on the mound. Good fastball. Good curve. Some location issues on the fastball but loved the change in velocity in the 90+ FB & high 70’s CB.
Ole Miss didn’t start a weekend pitcher…though the Maddox kid is in contention…but they did throw their weekend relievers & our hitters looked overmatched. I can’t understand why we continually sit C Riley Davis who was a solid D1 hitter at ULM but can’t seem to crack this lineup. He’s a far better hitter than their other backup catcher, and on a night like last night, a hit or two could have been the difference in the game.
Yea its going take 2 years to build the talent equivalent to Ole Ms.
