Vote early, vote often!
Me.
Him.
Dabo
As long as we're listing unattainable goals: Bear Bryant
Ah, shuddit, ya wise guys.

I the poll feature didn't load the first time around. And I may have forgotten to check a box. we'll see...it's my first poll I think.

Anyway, have at it.
David Blackwell needs to be on the list.

That said, my vote goes to Ed Orgeron.
I just really like Cignettis' HC success, albeit FCS, so that seperates him slightly from Beamer, but won't mind Shane at all.

I hope Blackwell is not our next head coach.
Can you edit a poll?
And "Who do you think will be next HC" would have been a better way to go, but it is what it is now that ppl have voted.

I added Blackwell, but I did not add Dabo, Orgeron, or Bear Bryant.
I like numerous choices on the list. I voted Beamer for a several reasons. First, his dad is a hall of famer. Excellent place to get feedback. Second, another excellent resource is Bud Foster, a Beamer disciple. Another potential, Zohn Burden would come back to ODU in some capacity. Fourth, Stinespring may decide to stay as well, in some capacity. We keep Blackwell. What a wealth of knowledge to pull from and make Shane very successful.
Dont know if Blackwell stays with Beamer but Beamer with Zohn as OC would be interesting.
I could live with half on the list, without any problem.
Watch for Blackwell to head to VT possibly.

As a DC? That would be very surprising.
Watched Cignetti the two years he was at Elon and he can coach. He took a team that had only won a handful of games in 5 or 6 years and turned them around the first year. He changed the environment around the team and made them believe in themselves. You can listen to him talk and watch him coach and see why he is successful. He also spent some time on Saban's staff, so that's not a bad thing. I voted for Beamer, go figure.
I voted Beamer, but Cig would be welcome. How long of a contract would we give the new HC, four years?
I say Beamer because of his connection to the area, relations to FBS coaches, and family name.

Frank built VT on the backs to 2-3 star players from 757 in the middle of nowhere VA in the 90s. Let's see what Shane can do with a program inside the 757
