I think Mac is good. Is he good enough to beat Allen, Mahomes, Burrow, Herbert, etc? I don’t think so either.

He’s more like Tannehill, Cousins, Garrapolo, and the QBs in that range.

Who are all above those like Prescott, Fields, Tagalovoa, and Wilson.

Good thing for him it's not a QB-QB matchup. Otherwise guys like Trent Dilfer wouldn't win titles. With a good squad around him he learns to continue to manage the game and minimize mistakes, could definitely win one.
Raw talent he's definitely not as good of a Rb as Allen and QB as the top tier :).
Middle tier guys with teams around them can and will win titles. Hell Brady early on was a game manager.

I don't think a majority of people realize how bad Matt Nagy was as a HC. Fields may be a bust, but there is promise there. Given Chicago's ownership and track record, they're going to make the wrong hire and we'll be drafting a new QB in 3 years, but I still see a lot of potential there and I haven't seen anything from this year's rookie QB class to convince me he can't be the best QB drafted.

HC/QB combo that I'd most prefer going into next year from the list of guys you mentioned:

1. Mac/BB
2. Tannehill/MV
3. Garrapolo/KS (Lance will be the starter next year, right?)
4. Prescott/MM
5. Fields/Brian Daboll
6. Wilson (Zac I assume)/RS
7. Tua/?
8. Cousins/?

Path to being a top 5 QB in the NFC is significantly easier than in the AFC.

1. Rodgers (hopefully is on his way to Denver after this year). Already 38 years old
2. Brady - he's already 44 and I don't think he can play forever
3. Stafford - Wouldn't crack the top 5 in the AFC and he's 33.

There is no one else in the NFC that Fields can't surpass.
Bricks- I don't disagree having a top tier guy helps. I think Mac is certainly capable of top of that next tier, but time will tell. But, for curiosity i looked at the QBs for the last several SB:
Goff got there, Foles won won, Matt Ryan got there(should have won), Garoppolo got there, Newton got there (recognize that was his 1 good year), Ravens won one with Flacco as QB, and beat a terrible Kap and the niners.

Fair enough, time will tell for them all. Getting there is one thing; Grossman did that, but at some point you're going to need the guy to go out there a win a game.

If Mac is as good as Matt Ryan, I'll be a little surprised, and Newton was MVP the year he carried Carolina to the SB. Goff, Foles, Flacco and Garoppolo are certainly QBs that Mac can be better than.

It's an advantage that he's working with Belichick. If Mac Jones spent his rookie season with Matt Nagy, everyone would assume a much lower ceiling for him.

I’m fully realistic in the fact I’m not likely to ever enjoy a run like they had. It’s going to be interesting to see how the coaching shuffle plays out. One thing I saw today and it seems foolish, but I wish the NFL would operate like the NCAA does if a coach is still in the tourney, he doesn’t interview until after the season is over . I read today Bowes is interviewing two places Friday and Sat when he should be prepping his team for Sunday!

Cowboys fans cannot speak on that topic

Just remember, the Patriots were who we thought they were. And, the Bills didn’t let them off the hook.

That quote from Green overshadows how good that Bears team was. And Green’s quote makes it sound like they gave it away, but the Bears defense was the best unit on the field that night.

Yeah, Unfortunately that is all I have to cheer for this year. I didn’t really care how it happened, but with Aaron struggling made it really sweet.

Yep, a team that over achieved and made the playoffs in their rookie QBs first season. The better team won that game.
They were not however, a team that choked per the norm.

Cowboys were not as good as niners. Discipline and coaching matters.
Probably the best weekend of divisional games i can remember. Every single game came down to the last possession with the weekend ending on the craziness that was the Bills-KC game. So much for being the top 2 defenses the last 8 weeks!

Well, at least i got the AFC right.

Chiefs/Rams will be a good Super Bowl
