The guy sitting in front of me was accidentally the first to christen the stadium with the large soda he just bought. Most of it settled on the floor in front of me and stayed there the entire game. So at least we know the aluminum decking doesn’t leak.

I would also like to see TVs on the concourse so we can keep up with the action while waiting in line. I missed the light show while waiting in line. I would also like to know if we can use those self serve kiosks or not. I saw people using the kiosk but then I saw them at the end of the line a few minutes later.

I used the kiosk... when I realized what they were after waiting 20 minutes in line.

I will start with positives. The stadium looked incredible and really big for a stadium that holds a mere 22.5 k. SB Ballard did an excellent job. Now onto the things that surprised me. I saw rusting and water leaks in couple of places under the belly on the west side. The team changed the route for pre-game walk which kinda disappointed me. Now the worst part.

1. Concession lines are terrible. They need to fix that for the next game.
2. No bathrooms on concourses and parents with kids with no access to elevator have to do a chose between losing a good chunk of a game and forcing their potty trained kids to wear diapers.
3. I have ATT and no ******* signal on the west side close to the press box. We need wifi for folks that follow other college FB games during the game or atleast show the scores around the country on that giant screen of ours.
4. The speakers are not in sync and have an abrupt echo when the referees are calling the penalties, at least on the west side close to press box.
No wi-fi for me.
On the West side I saw a bunch of guys in line for the restroom under the bleachers, I looked over to outer wall (near the bricks) and saw what I thought was a single use/family bathroom. When I walked in I was surprised to see that it was a full size bathroom. A little more light and additional signage would fix that problem.
On the second level they should have the small food vendors opposite the seats not right behind them. People waiting in line right there were backing up into the stairwell area.

I noticed a lot of rust on the decking and stairs and cracking concrete.

03-shhhh 03-shhhh don't let them know about the restrooms next to the elevators. COGS
I'm sure the wifi will come later, that seems like an easy fix that's probably already in the works. It's especially important for me since we had someone babysitting, there was no way for them to get a hold of us or vice versa, so we felt obligated to leave around the 3rd quarter to be safe.
There is an email from ODU asking for input.

Interesting. I haven't received that yet. Glad they are reaching out. Who does the email go to?

Or the additional stairwells by the elevators, no one used them leaving.

That's the ones I went down when we left after the game and didn't understand the comments about the stairwells being so congested.

No, but ya can see cracking on the steps on the west side outside the gates also.

I was going to go down those but the other stairs were so backed up I couldn't get there. I went closer to the endzone and it was better.

Stair wells, were larger and definitely safer than Old Foreman Field. How about we enjoy having a 21st century stadium versus a depression era stadium for a while

There were a lot of people in those stairwells next to the elevators and they weren't congested from what i saw when we were in them. I am sure people that were seated in the upper rows of 211 to 218 were using those including folks seated under the pressbox ADA areas.
Was the Priority club open? I haven't seen any pics of it yet
Yes it was. I talked briefly to Thomas Demarco who was standing guard at the door. Hope we'll have a chance to tour some of the places we never get to see, like Priority Club and especially Presidents Suite and press box.
