I have a question for North Texas fans. Are there any plans to change the time of your game on Saturday? A lot of our fans are giving our AD lip for “scheduling” a home game during a Cowboys playoff games. To me it’s one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard.

With the amount of promotion the AD has already done for this game, i doubt it. But the Cowboys game will prolly affect attendance unfortunately.

The NET appears to give too little consideration to the strength of schedule and is too heavily skewed by W-L record.
For example, NC State is 10th in the NET rankings (by virtue of their 12-1 record), but they've played the 338th-ranked SOS. They're 114th in the RPI. Texas Tech, at 12-1, is 8th in the NET rankings, but they've played the 169th-ranked SOS and are 39th in the RPI.
Meanwhile, Seton Hall is 11-3 against the 17th-ranked SOS: 41st in NET and 15th in RPI. Similarly, Oklahoma is 11-2 against the #2-ranked SOS: 2nd in the RPI, 20th in NET.
It seems you are much more benefited by racking up wins than playing a tough schedule (see the NC State model).
