as of today, there are only 2 AAC teams with senior QBs (navy, uconn)
all QB's are expected to return

just looking almost all of them are playing great
( i added RBs from the run-heavy teams)

Junior McKenzie Milton UCF- 2 years undefeated

Junior D'eriq king Houston- 1st year as a full QB, leads the nation in total TDs (by a few tds)

Soph. Anthony Russo Temple- 5-2 since taking over, had 6tds vs UCF Saturday

Freshmen Desmond Ridder Cincy- 8-1 starter, 18 total ts to 5 ints
- note star running back Michael Warren II is only a soph as well

True freshman Holton Ahlers- noted in the ecu/memphis game that from his 3 games, he is top 2 in every per game QB stat category by a freshman

Junior Blake Barnett USF- 1st year as a starter, 3rd in aac in passing yards
- top RB Jordan Cronkrite only a junior

Soph. Brady White Memphis- 1st year starting #2 in aac in passing TD's (only 3 ints)
- superstar RB Darrell Henderson is only a junior (50/50 on whether he declares)

Junior Justin McMillan Tulane- only 3 games, including a blowout of USF
- star running back Corey Dauphine & Darius Bradwell are juniors

Junior QB Ben Hicks SMU- 3-year starter putting together a respectable season

Tulsa: injured starter Luke Skipper is a sophomore, current starter Seth Boomer is a freshman, probable starter for next year Zach Smith (Baylor transfer) is a sophomore
- star rbs Shamari Brooks & Corey Taylor II are sophmores

Next year could be a lot of fun
I'm not sold on white as a sure thing going forward unless he steps it up for the remainder of the season. If he doesnt I believe norvell goes into the spring leaving the position up for competition.
Also hope ball is gone in the off season. We need to restructure our defense.
Question - will McKenzie Milton stay for another year after this? Is there talk of him trying to go pro? I think this is kind of hard to predict from my perspective.

He is all of 5'10" and 185 lbs. I don't see him leaving early.

He's a 5'10-11" 185lb QB, expect him to be back.
While Ridder is starter now for UC, he very well may not be the best young QB on the roster, coaches are very high on Bryant. 04-cheers

Doesn't sound fun to me
Trad Beatty is a true freshman, and Kennique Bonner-Steward is putting up numbers for one of the top teams in NC: https://www.charlotteobserver.com/sports...46615.html

Going to be the most QB talent in Temple history next year.

I would say there's a 1% chance he goes to the NFL after this season. I'll take those odds.
Hopefully good QBs will equate to OOC wins.
As a non-Tulsa fan with that information that you see about Tulsa being young and inexperienced at the skill positions, would you give Montgomery another year? Im not going to argue for or against it right now, just curious on an outsiders opinion.

It's been a three year downward spiral for Montgomery. His recruiting classes are also not even that good to where a breakthrough would be expected. As for in-game coaching, we are talking about a coach that does worse than freaking Willie Fritz in one-score games. It's not pretty.

I think you need a new voice in that program.

Cincinnati has one of the 10 youngest rosters in College Football.

They should take over UCF's reigns on this conference going forward. They are losing absolutely nobody for the next 2 years, and Coach Fick can Coot.
could Milton take the graduated senior escape clause and go to a program thats allowed a real chance to make the CFP?

Holton Ahlers is going to be ECU's next great QB.

It has felt like decades since Shane Carden graduated, and we haven't recovered from it.

That list is very short: Bama, Georgia, LSU, Clemson, Ohio State, Michigan, ND, Texas, Oklahoma, Washington. These are schools that could be in next year. Do any need a QB? Would any contenders be interested? Just don’t see him anywhere but at UCF next year. (dammit)

First great question Jester good way to gain some perspective.

Thanks Olive for the solid response.

UC only lists 14 and I don't know if any of them even play (or are on scholarship) at this point. Their starters are primarily made up of Freshman and Sophomores. The team is stacked for the future.

While both teams may be young, the difference is UC currently a top 25 team. There is no reason that they don't get better going forward.
