the only way to know if this person was unarmed was to search her. They can easily hide weapons and bombs under that burka.

Hamas is organizing all of it. You might think they would stop attacking the fence line and stop throwing rocks, pipe bombs and whatever else at IDF.

Different part of the world and I for one don't want to judge other countries by what are perceived to be our standards.

Wasn't the initial report on Benghazi that it was a peaceful protest by unarmed people?

I'm making obvious snark... I just hate the presumption that all protesters are peaceful etc... especially in that part of the world and with those parties. It prejudices the opinions.

The job of police is often to prepare for the worst and hope for the best... meaning they err on the side of protesters being armed there.
