IMO, Trump is being too nice to the media. These media pigs have screwed over and spit on Americans for decades now and they really have no idea of the hatred towards them that they have fomented.

He suggests that he should have run in 1999, but I am glad he didn't. I don't know if the country could have taken going from the rapist cigar aficionado to the orange letch. Seriously though, 9/11 needed a steady hand and the type of man who could help the nation cope with the tragedy in a way that I don't believe Trump is capable of. Now, if he had run in 2008 and won, that might have been a different story. He would have been focused on the economic crisis of 2008 and more in his element. He would also have been 10 years younger and might have been less volatile than he is now. In 2008 though, he would still have been a Democrat.

Let's see how that PA election turns out before you label him greatest POTUS ever. The only ranking I'd put him #1 in is insult king. Maybe in biggest ego category too although he has some competition there.

There are plenty of ways to go on an all out verbal attack without demeaning the integrity of the office of President. Reagan was brilliant at it. Of course...He actually thought about the consequences of his words instead of engaging in locker room banter in public.

there's no question Reagan was a polished version of a raw Trump.....

I've always stated he's horrible in front of the camera at times that makes one cringe.....
