IMO, Trump is being too nice to the media. These media pigs have screwed over and spit on Americans for decades now and they really have no idea of the hatred towards them that they have fomented.

RE: Greatest Potus ever
He suggests that he should have run in 1999, but I am glad he didn't. I don't know if the country could have taken going from the rapist cigar aficionado to the orange letch. Seriously though, 9/11 needed a steady hand and the type of man who could help the nation cope with the tragedy in a way that I don't believe Trump is capable of. Now, if he had run in 2008 and won, that might have been a different story. He would have been focused on the economic crisis of 2008 and more in his element. He would also have been 10 years younger and might have been less volatile than he is now. In 2008 though, he would still have been a Democrat.

dude, he picked the fight with the msm right out of the gate, and now just called one their weenie boys a 'sleepy eyed, sleeping sum biatch'....

there's nothing shy about the intent behind that comment...

Let's see how that PA election turns out before you label him greatest POTUS ever. The only ranking I'd put him #1 in is insult king. Maybe in biggest ego category too although he has some competition there.

I'd rather have him calling media members SOB's than NFL players - I don't think any race riots are likely to come out of him picking on Chuck Todd.

him being a dippo was always a fallacy.....

ol' boy ain't got a socialist bone in his body.....what he does have is the ability to manipulate/negotiate with whoever is in power....

he's doesn't give a shite about pc rhetoric in the moment now....he cares about the only thing that one should care about......protecting the USD......

as an aside but relevant to the OP.....lmfao at "maxine waters is a low I.Q. individual"......if it wasn't for gerrymandering, that stupid biatch would either be waiting on the mailman the 1st of each month, or serving flap jacks at the local IHOP.....

I have no problem with Trump going after Todd. I do have a problem with the POTUS publicly calling him a SOB. Words have meanings. I don't know if Todd's mother is still alive or not..but..he owes her an apology. It is just unnecessary IMO.

while I understand that sentiment, sometimes you simply have to get dirty when you're trying to 'mop the slop'....

again, if you've ever sat at the big boy table, that was tame in relative terms....I'm certain the language gets much nastier behind closed doors.....

There are plenty of ways to go on an all out verbal attack without demeaning the integrity of the office of President. Reagan was brilliant at it. Of course...He actually thought about the consequences of his words instead of engaging in locker room banter in public.

there's no question Reagan was a polished version of a raw Trump.....

I've always stated he's horrible in front of the camera at times that makes one cringe.....

let's put it this way......I'm certain there are many a person in many a country that wished they had leadership like this vs. what they currently have....

so he screws up sometimes.....hell, that simply makes him look more like the rest of us instead of some pompous wimp prick in the oval office......

I can at least respect that.....

No doubt that despite Trumps "hoof and mouth" disease he seems to be riding a nice high. Im not pulling against him...Id just like to see him be more Presidential in public. Im not sure that is within him. He is...what he his. Good or bad.

He is the modern day Andy Jackson, and that is his style.

In yesterdays speech he made fun of being presidential. At least he tried. LOL
