It was a close game between two good teams. WSU overall has better players - especially guys that can shoot and make shots.

But it went down nearly to the wire, UC played hard. It will be a shame if they don't win the league and now they probably won't. I don't see them winning at Wichita.
Hello 4 seed (if we should be so lucky)

Washington is definitely not better than Morris.

We need this tough stretch at the end of the season. This team still has some unrealized potential. Specifically, Cane Broome is going to get more minutes. The team needs to figure out the rotation and to go to the best match-up. Most of these calculations will require Cane on the floor. Cane can get to the basket and can be used to set up Cumberland and the other wings. We can use JJ to spell the guards, but Cane is required for the highest ceiling.
The problem was that Washington could not handle Morris on either end because Morris played too physical for him. Washington has a big problem with guys that want to play that way.

No way does the 3rd place team in this league get a 4 seed.

Our bigs in general do not match up well vs physical bigs. Clark for as great as he is doesn't have a big body, he uses athleticism to get rebounds - not strength. Washington isn't that strong either and isn't physical. Even Brooks is more long and athletic than physical.

Nsoseme might be a dominant physical big in a few years, but not this year.

real problem I've ONLY been saying since last year is Clark is the real C of the two. I don't understand why washington always plays more physical big than clark.
Just this week #6,8, an 10 Purdue, tOSU, and Auburn lost to scrubs Wisconsin, Penn St, and S Carolina and we have to put up with whiners and crybabies in here who insist now that UC isn’t all that much.

I disagree, Frankamp isn't a starter either.

Jenifer<<Shamet (Broome<Shamet)
JC=>Reaves (slightly, Reaves better shooter, but JC makes up for it by with driving and rebounding).
Evans>Brown
Clark>>Kelly
Washington<Morris

I said when I first got back bring washington off bench and start Nso. The best teams in country have bigs washington can't handle in post. Even if its only 8-10 game i would start Nso.

We need some tougher competition at the beginning of the season too.

What third place team? One more loss would still make UC conference co champs. With a better overall win loss record. A home loss to WSU today cost UC only 3 spots in the RPI. From 8 to 11.

then you run risk of going 0 for nothing and being on bubble if you don't win conference tournament. Smu dont get in last year without beating us

Nobody (or at least no one sane) is saying UC is bad. But this is the year UC was supposed to be great, the year it all came together for a final four or elite eight run. Other teams lost to scrubs, but they have also beat some top teams.

UC hasn't beaten any top teams this year. That doesn't mean were bad, but the eye test says we aren't elite. If your expectation is NCAA tournment maybe a win or two, we are doing okay. But if your expectation was win conference title outright, win conference tournament and make a deep run in NCAA tournament, well now it looks like we might not even get 1 out of 3.

I hate when dudes do that. Like have they ever played a sport or been in locker room? You'll get your head knocked off saying some **** like that in locker room after loss, "why y'all so mad we lost today? Everybody in division lost also..."
