I also thought about this, but a simple man who wants simple uniforms doesn’t run a defensive lineman out for passes in the 9th game of the season.

I do agree the guys should tuck their shirts in. That looks like slop. Tuck the shirts in and get back to the purple JMU logo and we have one of the best uniforms in all of college football.

Pretty sure the NCAA outlawed the 80s/90s Miam cutoff shirts years ago.

No offense to the twitter post, but I'm not sure I trust the uniform combination posts after the Towson game.
It was a purple out and they used this week's exact same picture. We all know the uniform was considerably different.

I prefer the purple & gold strip down the middle of the white helmet rather than just the plain white helmet with no strips. I think it makes it look sharper.

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think we've worn a white helmet without the stripe this year. Agreed that it's a great look, the helmets Saturday had the stripe, not sure why they don't have it in the picture.

Hope not. Can't see any logo on the black lid especially since it gets dark halfway through the game this time of year. I don't like the black unis at all but they're much better with the gold lids, esp. at night. I don't think we've ever worn them with the white lids but I might just not be remembering.

An email from JMU today reflects Black/Black/Gold while marketing the Black Out game and playoffs. No clue if that is indicative of Saturday or just a stock photo.

Black lids are gone, got changed to other colors. No more black helmets. Only have gold, purple, white ones now.

I thought the all purple with gold helmets was a great look for the purple out. I'd love all black with gold helmets for the black out

The email they sent out to black out bridgeforth had black pants black jersey gold helmets... not sure if that's official but.
