Which color did you or are you going to vote for the FAU game fan poll? Might get an early indicator for which color is the favorite.
Light blue. The team needs a light blue jersey in the mix on stupid hot days and are forced to wear dark like last week. So if the fans wear it, perhaps the team will too someday.
Got to go with the dark blue .... the white doesn't excite in October, and I get queasy thinking about that Carolina Blue color back on Foreman Field -- even if we would be wearing it.04-jawdrop
Ahhh, FAU. Our "manufactured" Arch-Rival
Dark Blue, not a fan of a light blue.
I wonder if it would be such a bad thing to have a game where we aren't told which color to wear? I am curious to know what it would look like

One can dream.

Yup. We should only have these color-outs for the biggest games, maybe once a season. Make them feel special instead of some hokey marketing scheme to sell more tshirts.

The light blue might have more meaning to those of us old enough to remember wearing it. But unfortunately I don't have a light blue shirt so I'd have to buy one.

Light blue was the the only color when I was at ODU.

I voted for the dark blue because FAU is an evening game.
I agree with a previous poster that we should have light blue as an option for hot weather daytime games (like VT).
Light Blue. Temps are still too high to wear dark blue. I will be back up to 80 by next Thursday.
I went dark blue.

I really wish we had a silver jersey again. They would be ideal for hot games when we didn't want to wear the slate blue jerseys. The one we had in the Heinicke era was pretty sweet. I have never been a fan of the return of light blue to our color palate.
Faded blue won.

I for one am a happy camper.

+1
All we need is a white out, navy effect, and black out for whichever games they want to promote the most. I agree that having a dress code for every game is overkill. I own a grey short sleeve shirt and a navy long sleeve shirt with my preferred logo of the lion against the shield.
I think the color guide that has come out essentially every year since wither the 3rd or 4th year of ODU football is a case of forced traditions. I remember there was one season where we wore blue at home once, and I remember I was a little upset because I had paid $100 or whatever it was for a nice new blue Nike Heinicke jersey from the bookstore that summer and was "told" I could only wear it once.

We have 6 home games a year, and three different jersey options. If we want to do a white out, a black out, and a blue out, with a stripe the stadium or whatever fun crowd/stadium color coordination game thrown in there, that is enough. The other two games don't need a designation as far as I'm concerned. And as much as I like the black uniforms, if we got rid of them for a light blue or a silver alternate set I wouldn't be upset. If anything I would enjoy it more, as BFBS is a little overplayed in the sports world
I'll be wearing navy blue.
