I'd pick Miami in the East. Coin toss between us and NIU, we just gave that game away last year. WMU could easily win the West with good QB play......lose to Toledo, NIU and EMU with poor QB play. They have a new starter (R-Soph) with zero experience, and their backup just transferred, leaving a real problem if the new guy goes down. Same could obviously be said for us if Roback goes down.

In an interview today with Steiner, CC said they will be in Ohio for 4 or 5 days for camp. I wasn't sure of the city, "Xenia" is what it sounded like he said but I'm not familiar with Ohio.
EDIT: It is Xenia, Ohio, which is just outside of Dayton.
One critical question is whether Mike Glass III has been cleared and whether he has actually signed and will be there in August. If not we will have a potential depth problem at QB.
The 3 jucos OL I've mentioned are Dakota Ramsey, Walter Harris III and Jordan Johnson out of Garden City CC (6'5, 265). Have they signed, been cleared and in camp in August? Or are some signing in December? Even if they show up inAugust are they playing right away or being redshirted this year?
And are there any other late signees for example TE?
Any grad transfers?

We've talked about Glass III, Ramsey and Harris III in other threads. And in fact some of those are your comments on them. My only question is whether Glass III had changed his mind and when the three JUCO players will show up (for August camp-this thread), or December. We haven't talked about Jordan Johnson much. I'll let you review his tweets and gage his interest in EMU. He redshirted at Garden City last year. I believe his hudl weight at 265 might be low. At 6'5 he might be a tackle possibility if not this year in the future.
I believe that JUCO Frenzy's report that Harris III decommited from EMU isn't accurate. I also note that Rivals has him rated two star.
My comment about grad transfers is a question, not a statement. Questions have ? and statements have. Someone besides you and me might have information on that or another late signed players.
The NCAA clearinghouse doesn't care about Media days and media guides. There have been players in the media guide and team photo who aren't there on the opening day roster or visa versa if they were not cleared to play when the guide or photo was taken.
I'm still confused why a player who expects to begin practice in two weeks isn't on the roster.
None of these recruits are h.s. kids who need to go through the laborious NCAA Clearinghouse process. Presumably if they are JUCO grads they are good to go unless they took courses in basket-weaving and can be listed on the roster.
Like don't we have other 2017 June JUCO grads who are in school now?

No, the ones on the current roster are those that enrolled in January 2017. But to refresh your memory think of when Johnny N, Bailey and Porter were put on the roster. We are probably looking at guys who finished classes in May or June of 2017 which is a month ago.

Who know there could be other issues related to him being an international student. An issue related to playing with the Finnish National Team? impermissible benefits while on that team? Or did he use up some NCAA eligibility in Finland????
This article is geared more for members of the compliance staffs than us posters but it discusses the issue. About 1% of NCAA D-I athletes are foreign.

Villie had decent FBS interest and offers as I recall. Sometimes the staff has to roll the dice to get a player that could make an impact. I also recall there was a question as whether he would be eligible for two or three years due to his playing in Finland. I don't recall the professional question coming up at that time. Lets hope it all works out for Villie and us. I am not familiar with JUCO rules but why didn't this professional issue come up in his first year playing JUCO football?
