ESPN is reporting that the Bills have cut Junior Sylvestre.
Channel 13 report on the Toledo players at the Lions mini-camp - mostly on Norton. Caldwell has some nice things to say about him.

Kareem Hunt selected as one of 40 rookies to participate in something called Rookie Premier. Not completely sure what this is, but it appears to be a gathering where NFL corporate sponsors can meet and interact with "professional football's most promising and marketable young stars".

List of players here: https://www.nflpa.com/rp/rookie-premiere...layer-list

All offensive players.
And, Jayrone Elliott continues to do good works, building a playground via his foundation. Press release from United Healthcare who made a large donation to the project:

And he's not the only Rocket, as there were lots of tweets over the weekend about Greg Mancz helping build a house with Habitat for Humanity in Houston.
One more high note for the day, video of Hawk appearing on Good Morning Football, where he discusses his recent graduation from Columbia & the Browns.

Amazing guy. This pic originally from his instagram sums it up:

Oh, and did I mention he has 3 kids.

Still looking to play some more football though, as he says he has offers and is taking a couple visits this week.
Nice job Hawk. He's doing a nice job taking advantage of his opportunities at every level. Great to see. UT can definitely be that platform.
Report on twitter that Corey Jones has signed with the BC Lions, joining Nick Moore there.
Also on twitter, reports that Bruce Gradkowski and Lance Moore both participated in the NFL's Broadcasting Boot Camp this week. Supposedly a crash course for former players to prepare them for careers in broadcasting. Wonder if this signals Bruce is hanging up the cleats.

Thought he retired last year.
I would't be surprised to see Bruce as an assistant coach at UT someday
Kareem Hunt got love on Fox Sports as one of 15 rookies who will make immediate impact on their teams. I'm too lazy to post the link.

Nope, at least he hasn't ever officially announced it. Was injured last year and cut by the Steelers, so still officially a free agent.
Ruben Carter released by the Stampeders

Also, haven't been able to confirm the twitter report of Corey Jones signing with the BC Lions, but the tweet came from his agent, so I assume it's legit.

Report on twitter (by his agent) that Ruben Carter has been signed by the Dallas Cowboys. Can't yet find a story to confirm. Quite a thing to go from being cut by Calgary to signing with Dallas.

Also, can finally confirm Corey Jones was signed by BC.

Maybe a contractual thing? They had to cut him before D could sign? Quien sabe?
