It begins tonight. Should be quite the fight.
Technically, it's begun but...yawn, wake me up Thursday or at least in two hours.
Would've liked to seen the Privateers get the full experience in their first try post-Katrina. Mount St. Mary's has made it enough.
Nothing to be ashamed of. There's enough bad stuff in Southland...one of its own putting up a fight in the tournament's first game is a high note.
Well ... here we go! Looking forward to watching the Gophers make all the twitter twits look stupid.

Anyone change their picks for 6-11 games based on the First Four?
The AAC teams are severely underseeded.
I get the feeling this might be one of those tournaments where there won't be many upsets.

I hope I'm wrong, but the way some of these guys were seeded...it's not quite right.

Both of the lower seeds in the first two games should be better than 12's.
Also, the shooting in the ND-Princeton game is so bad, it's punishment having the game stop for minutes for these television timeouts. Good lord, please let these games play.
I hate it when teams try a 3 point shot when they only need a 2 pt shot to win. No need for Princeton to try a long 3 when only down by 1 pt.

Part of it the matchups didn't fall right. I would've banked on Wilmington beating anyone except Tony Bennett. And they get Tony Bennett.

I also thought Oregon was ripe against a Bucknell/ETSU/Winthrop/NMSU/FGCU but they're in the clear with a rebuilding 12-8 MAAC team.

Still picked FGCU/Winthrop/Nevada/MTSU regardless. Regretting picking Winthrop instead of Vermont.

Taking Kansas State over Cincy. One team from the first four always makes a run. But like others on here have said, AAC underseeded, and SMU is much better than a six seed, so USC has a tough matchup. Of course, I could be totally wrong.
Well, Princeton came up just short. But I had Notre Dame.

I'm pulling for UNCW!
UVA wins. Gonzaga barely winning against South Dakota St.
Man, two 12's go down.

Good call on the few upsets thing!

Doesn't at least one 12 usually make it through? Or not so?

2007 didn't have one break through. That one was one of those where the favored seed won most of the time. Some 9's over 8's and two 11s over a 6 were the highlights.

And when you consider who coached one of those 11-seeds, it's not much of a surprise.

I will not watch this tournament past tomorrow if we get a repeat of 2007.

Butler rolls over Winthrop, Gonzaga up by 17 now.

Some close games, but no upsets so far.

Upsets make March Madness what it is. That is bonafide truth.

But not my Gophs!
If ETSU doesn't pull this one off, look to their inability to get to the line...or, how they let UF just play from there.
lol B1G sucks

all these announcers saying power conferences can kissy butt
5+ minutes in and Villanova is scoreless
