Don't forget mighty UTEP and FIU.

At least those losses were single digits.
Who was guarding Beverly, who has scored 30 points?

Seriously, when was the last time you did the BubbleWatch? I loved following it here and really miss it.

I'm thinking 2011 was the last time we were Bubbly but I could be wrong.

Can I take a wild guess and say.....no one?

Wouldn't the question be better worded "Was anyone guarding Beverly, who has scored 30 points?"

LOL! That's funny! No kidding!
You stunk the joint up, Blazers.

Shake it off and we'll see you Thursday.

Has nothing to do with UAB. Bubble watch doesn't apply to this version of CUSA.
Remember, CUSA Tournament tickets are still on sale. Plenty of good seats available.

Wow! Loss for words to describe what I just watched.

Unacceptable

MB is right. We need to show up at Legacy. I'm taking some days off to go.

If UAB plays a tough pre conference schedule and wins most of those games, we'll be on the bubble in this CUSA. The margin will be thin like it is for MTSU right now but it can be done. We had a lot of momentum to start last season. If we had come out and played like a lot of publications (and fans) thought we would, we would have definitely been there again. UAB didn't come out strong and so by the start of CUSA play, we were out. Not sure who that is on but UAB.
Someone said it earlier and I absolutely agree; this has been the most disappointing UAB team I can remember. Maybe we've had worse overall seasons but never with a team with as much talent as this one. I'm sure excuses will be made but really there aren't any.

Right. Our schedule gave us a chance this year. Our play didn't.

First year coach and loss of floor general. I know it was a crappy opponent, but we were a different team with Norton on the court. Neither of these things are excuses either, they are facts. Are we a better team now than with norton running the point? PG has been the biggest issue with us all season. Watts is solid as hell, but he doesn't have the playmaking ability that norton does. We have a ton of talent on this team, but we don't have a leader. Unless somebody steps into that role in the next month and a half, we are going to continue to have swings like these.

Playing a tough schedule and winning those games are two different things. Even with Norton, we weren't beating Kansas or St Mary's. Those are the only two games that would have put us on the bubble.
It all starts with defense. if your shot isn't falling if you are playing defense you are in the game. i am so tired of someone having a career night against us. Someone needs to take it personally and do something about it. Also when we are down by 4, no need to panic like it appears our team does and before you know it after a poor shot or two we are now down ten. Rants over. i will be there Thursday.

If we win every game but those two ooc we have a chance. Those would definitely be the marque games though. We need to get rid of all 200+ ooc opponents that we can. Too many of those in conference at this point.

UAB hasn't played much defense since Donnie Marsh left town. We either played Haase-fast or Half-Haase but lock down D was never really part of the program.
