Pretty sure he was just here too for the Huskie Bowl.
Just kind of as an FYI, a kid to keep an eye on is Max Edwards, an OT from a tiny little town in southern Illinois (Johnston City). He's come out of nowhere since his coach filled out a form wrong (everybody thought he was a 2016, he's not, he's 2017) and SIU is all over him now but NIU and Illinois have both caught wind of him and are starting to show interest. He's 6-6, 275 and if he camps well has a good shot to end up in the FBS somewhere.
No idea if NIU will offer or not, but now that schools know who he is I'd expect him to try and get around to camps and earn some offers. Obviously, he has the build to play tackle in college, so he'll have to show he can move and show some technique at camps since the competition he plays isn't the best.
Is it my imagination or are there more camps this year than ever? Illinois had a camp at Gately the day before ours and from the pics it looked like there wasn't a great turnout at ours. We have another camp going on today while there are also camps going on at Lake Park and I believe North Central with multiple P5 coaches in attendance. Coaches are going to have to adjust to this proliferation of camps, especially if it dilutes turnout at their own camps. Given a schedule conflict kids are more likely to choose the camp with P5 coaches than ours.
Jordan Rowell out of IC is another kid Im really hoping we land. He's a MUCH faster version of ACRB. He already has Iowa and Purdue offers but it looks like he had a great time on his visit to NIU and it also looks like his girlfriend just committed to NIU's Women's golf team so that might help us land him. He'd be a get get for us

Iowa already has 2 RB's committed so I doubt they're looking for a 3rd and Purdue is probably going to be looking for a coach in 5.5 months. That all should help NIU, as well.
Lot more offers will be forthcoming with camps in progress

It's always poaching season in college football.... Toledo will always be second or third fiddle in our Conference.
