Not necessarily, Collins wouldn't have gone on scholarship till 2017. He was scheduled just to be in financial aid for this coming year

Not saying he is any good but just because they say he is a "pro" style QB, doesn't mean he can't run. NIU have not offered a lot of players from Illinois that have committed to other MAC teams.

Sad truth:

We seem to make more "news" about the recruits we don't get (or lose) than the ones we do.

QB Drew Keszei from Ft. Wayne, Ind. 6'2" 185 lbs. rated 2* by Scout was just offered by NIU.
