If my calculations are correct. That's our record since we joined the American.

Good enough for 2.7 mil a year ?
65% and 61% respectively
$135,000 per win over the first two years.

Nah - too many recently touting the 6th winningest blah blah.

Time to put things in perspective.

I'm guessing you like 1983's endless threads about APR and not getting caught cheating ?

nope, but you and I both know there is a 0% chance he's still here in April.

I'm not so sure anymore
Pastner is history by March 31, 2016.

I truly believe that is a done deal, at least within the inner circle of major BB boosters and Bowen. The well is just far too poisoned as the declining ticket sales/attendance indicates. A change is absolutely mandatory. I think most certainly acknowledge that.

The core argument, on this board, is whether the entire $10.6mm (or whatever the full remaining amount is) will be paid or not. I tend to agree with Tiger1983 that there's no getting around the contract.

Everything else is just message board filler.

So Josh is such a "nice guy" that he's gonna stick us with the entire bill ?

unsure what nice guy has to do with it, but business is business. If a smaller school wants him, I'm sure our boosters can make him whole.

In that case "nice guy" means willing to negotiate. Paul Hewitt did and I'm sure he loves money too

I'm unsure on his contract at the time and how much he was owed.

He's most likely gone after this year (100% gone if Marshall is really available), next year at the latest barring some unbelievable turnaround in not only results but style of play. It is what it is.

Going with the coach.
Last week there was a thread speculating that Bowen was interested in the Illinois job or that his name had been mentioned.

Prediction: If Bowen doesn't do anything with Josh at the end of the year, he might be looking to leave himself.

If Bowen does get rid of Josh, he's here to stay a while longer.

Sure. Nice guys normally tell the entity that fires them that it's okay to void the contract that they signed that entitles said nice guy to millions of dollars. Let's be plausible with our darts.

Hewitt only had one year left on a $750k contract at Geo Mason. Not sure how much he settled that one for. But he stuck Ga Tech for over $7M when they fired him. Yea, he loves money too.
I would not be surprised if Pastner is fired in 2015.
