Hope that wasn't you throwing the flag for the offsides in the ACC game last night...

Nice bowl--good location--very good opponent. This will IMO be the toughest D we will have faced this season. Anxious to see how the team responds for Candle. Hope we see a more complete game from the Rockets than we did against Western. 1 of 3 significant measuring sticks for Candle in the next 2 months (building his staff, the bowl game, & what kind of recruiting class he is able to actually sign).

I did but only because I hate Carolina...Go Duke!!!
I knew the fix was in... I'm a Carolina fan by marriage. To be fair, Rocket Nation gained her by marriage, so it's an even trade. But yeah, to say that the offsides was a $#!tty call would an insult to $#!tty calls everywhere.

I'm guessing UT alumni association will have some sort of travel package. I'd love to go!

Temple fans are salty because their fairy tale season ends with a MAC loss.... again.

Edit: As of Sunday evening some of the links don't seem to be active, but I imagine they will be soon.

Boca Raton Bowl on ESPN at 7 Eastern on Dec. 22nd. Akron's bowl game (or at least the telecast) against Utah State starts at 3:30 Eastern on ESPN. That game better not be a 4-hour marathon. I will NOT be happy. ESPN3 is not the same for me. I know they can switch the Boca Raton Bowl to ESPNU or ESPNews, but I don't want to have to think about stuff like that.

Thanks for the update. I'm waiting to see if UT is doing some sort of flight or fan stuff. Hotels look beautiful. Looks like each school gets a pep rally the night before. I hope it's on the beach!

As a FAU fan Im happy to invite you guys to Boca to play in the bowl game in our stadium.
Id recommend flying into Fort Lauderdale, which has plenty of non-stop flights from DETROIT at a lower cost than flying into west palm beach.
I would not stay in West Palm Beach unless enjoy driving half an hour to 45 minutes in heavy traffic to the game on I-95.
All the boca hotels they have listed are good. Although there others nearby that are less expensive. You will need to rent a car.

Praise the Lord! FAU has a weak geography department.

Probably confused us with Temple as we both start with a "T".
