Just announced (I think, sorry if this was already common knowledge) - but the game will be broadcast Saturday at noon on ESPN 3.

If we win we will play on Sunday on ESPN 2 at 5:30 PM.

If we lose we will play on Sunday at noon on ESPN 3 again.
Perfect.
I will be watching it live and in-person! Look for me on the TV...

Good post. Thanks!
That's Hawt!!!

I'm so ready for this exhibition season to draw to a close. The last few games have bored me... ODU has been assured as the winner as in the Blue-White game as in the CNU, Buffalo and Niagara contests. Bring on some D1 teams!
Look for a bald head in the crowd. We are going to be in Uncasville this weekend!
I'll be there as well. Me and a buddy are leaving Richmond early Friday morning.
Saturday will be huge for ODU basketball/football. If we can win either game Saturday I will be happy. If we win Saturday and Sunday I'd hope to see us in the top 25 on Monday. Either way I cant wait for Saturday.
I know it's on during our game but Purdue is playing on espn3 tonight at 7 vs incarnate word.
I don't want to jump the gun and look ahead, but I'm a fan, and that's what we do.

Purdue rolls out a starting 5 that looks like this.
1. 6'3
2. 6'6
3. 6'8
4. 6'9
5. 7'0 plus

It will be interesting to see what Jones puts on the floor to start that game. I am no coach but if I put a starting 5 out there it would look like one of these:

1. Freeman
2. Bacote
3. Talley
4. Taylor
5. Stith

or

1. Freeman
2. Bacote
3. Taylor
4. Stith
5. Pervier

Thoughts?

Baker cannot guard a 6'8 winger....but we all know this.
Shocked if baker doesn't start.
A smaller and faster line-up may work in this instance.
No way Talley starts coming off a suspension with no game experience.
Baker is becoming an elite perimeter defender. He's going to start.
He is going to start I agree. I am just pointing out what our best starting lineup could be in this match up. Baker is going to have a tough time with 6'8 Vince Edwards.

You put your normal starting five on the court. You don't adjust that based on opponent. If the flow of the game dictates that Talley warrants more minutes than Baker, I am sure that is what we will see, but for continuity's sake you try to keep the groups that are used to playing together together.

6'8" Vince Edwards will have a tough time with Baker as well. Jordan will have Vince chasing him all over the court and Vince better not try to dribble.

If he gets the ball with his back to the rim Baker will need to have help and a double from Stith or Taylor. That might be trouble looking at Edwards high school film he's not afraid to draw a double and dish it down for a easy layup to his teammate.

There is no way that Pervier, Stith, and Taylor are ever on the floor together at the same time. Yikes, that would be a nightmare.

Yes, you don't want Baker guarding a 6-8 guy and it would have been nice to have Talley/Douglas, but Baker/Mosely will be guarding him at times. It's not going to be easy for the 6-8 guy to guard them either unless he's really quick.

No doubt that Vince will has advantages. Just pointing out that it presents mismatches on both sides.
