On the OD tomorrow 7-7:30am.

Just heard the tease on the radio.
Ray Watts is coming out with his own line of bottled water, guaranteed to quench that Blazer thirst.
If it's contract related and JOX gets the first take on it I'll barf.
Say what you want, Kurre was on top of the reinstatement announcement. Could be the AD office mole(s) have picked him for the time being.
Wonder what level of "big" they're talking about. In my universe, "big" would be something like a facilities plan that says on campus stadium out loud (even if it's 5-10 years down the road). Given how "big" some previous announcements were, I'm thinking more along the lines of turf on the practice field.

I'm hoping it is Clark's contract extension has been signed... for 10 years!
I think it is facilities related.
Facilities related, contract related, NCAA related...

Something. Anything.

Wouldn't bet against this, either.

If it were contract related for Clark, we'd hear about it here first, not through Kurre.
Clark is on vacation next two weeks.

My guess is the restart date which should be announced by Clark with an explanation to everyone instead of Ingram doing it with no contract for his head coach and many unanswered questions.

That date should be kept quiet until Clark can talk to everyone and explain his plan. I am guessing it is another bungle by Bumbles.

Well, 7am IS over 17 hours away. 03-wink
If it is an important announcement, maybe Clark shouldn't have gone on vacation.
Balch Sports isn't on Vacation
Maybe Clark has had this vacation scheduled for a while and this announcement didn't need to be made at this time considering the contract situation and - or doesn't need to be made by the AD at all?
Bowling and Rifle will start this coming season?
If it's related to facilities funding then Clark wouldn't need to be there and falls completely within the AD's wheelhouse. Anything else and the timing is pretty suspect
It's not like anyone has it out for the guy, people are just naturally suspicious and Ingram is still more associated with the administration until proven otherwise. This would be a hard job in normal circumstances so, now, this kind of scrutiny is to be expected. That's not a bad thing. Ingram has every opportunity to show people who he really is via the actions that will define him.

If this is really going down, then we're going to gain a little of that insight tomorrow.

Edit: Oh yeah, it has to be about facilities or something otherwise it's not that good look as far as coordination goes.
The way I see it, if Clark is on a two week vacation, either the contract talks are pretty much settled, or there isn't really an urgency on either side to get it completed any time soon.

Yep
There is urgency on Clark's side for a contract I assure you. I can't say the same for UAB administration. Their inactions speak louder than words.
