Well, get your 2SXL in July....

If you are buying your first 2/3DS now you're stupid. Last year was the year. Pokémon 20th and SM

And Fire Emblem! I do like the fact that they're making the 2DS much more portable though.

DLC for you FE guys.

http://fireemblemechoes.nintendo.com/dlc/

Pre-ordered from Amazon a few weeks back, definitely looking forward to it. Gaiden is one of only 3 FE games I haven't played.

Also...you'll be proud of me...I took the dive and bought a Switch. I'm playing it almost exclusively in handheld mode and liking it a lot, even if the games library is shockingly small. I will say this though, I don't really think BotW is any better or worse than Horizon or Witcher 3...more accessible and with more interactive environments, but no more or less entertaining, and the quality is 'different', definitely a step down in photo-realism and fidelity, but also has a charm that the others don't.

Did you go gray or neons?

What other Switch games do you have?

I currently have:

BotW
Puyo Puyo Tetris
Wonder Boy: Dragon's Trap
Mario Kart 8 DLX

The screen on the Switch is very nice and detailed. I like playing it in portable mode but I am generally speaking a docked player.... because I am usually the driver if travelling and since none of the NBA or NHL matchups this round have grabbed my tv eye, there isn't a need to go portable while having the game on.

As for MK8 DLX I have everything unlocked aside from Gold Mario, Gold Tires, and Gold Glider. I'm doing the TT unlocks now for Gold Tires.... and it will take 5K of coins for the Glider, and beating 200cc for Gold Mario.

I went with gray and I have Zelda and Binding of Isaac since I didn't play it the last go-around. I love the freedom of not having it docked, and the battery life has been surprisingly steady and matches about the amount of time I would ever want to sit and play either of those games, so it's perfect for now. I guess I'm just holding out hope that there are some unique, new single person games announced at E3/Nintendo Direct, because at the moment even on the horizon there are only 2-4 games I would genuinely consider as far as full-retail games go that have been announced.

Of the KNOWN games at this time, I want Mario Odyssey.

I want to play ARMS.... to check it out first.... not sure on buying it.

I could neither here nor there on Splatoon 2.... I need more info on what it will be like first. I never bought the first one.

Of course when I go cut the grass is when MM Link and Bayonetta P2 amiibos go up for PO @ BBY. MM Link was sold out but I did nab two Bayonettas.

Now all I have left to do to complete my Smash Amiibo Collection is Female Corrin.

Did you not play the testfire? Also Arms needs a testfire that's basically a demo.

No, mainly due to work and times.... but, also, somehow my wifi signal to the switch got dropped and I had to reset the connection... and didn't notice that till later.

The first one was awesome, but this is basically a completely different game and series. It definitely looks interesting...seems a lot like Alien: Isolation with the horror/shooter vibe.

It's prey not prey 2

Ben Heck got that CD drive working on that prototype Sony SNES CDROM console... I'd highly recommend digging up parts 1 and 2 of those videos where he broke it down and put it back together to get it running...

And also incoming

I might could be down for that lime green!
Unpopular opinion time...I've played Zelda for about 12 hours now, and it just isn't that entertaining...

I guess it's just not for me, even though I liked No Man's Sky and generally really enjoy open-world exploration games and games that allow for imagination in the way in which they can be played. The constant need to find new weapons every 5 minutes, the lack of higher level crafting, and the fact that very often you find yourself in situations that more than likely will kill you regardless of what you do is just not entertaining to me in the slightest. I guess I came in expecting some sort of generational game, but I think it turned out being people just giving a game Zelda/Nintendo bias...which I tend to do as well.
Anyone who has ever been interested in trying Overwatch, it will be free to play on all platforms from May 26-29

I really want to get a shot at those demo testfires! Not sure if I'd buy it...but my interest level is increasing the more I get shown of it.

Tough call for me financially though...

Odyssey coming in November/December

PO's doubles of the 6 NEW Smash Amiibo...

And I expect a Smash Port equivalent to MK8DLX before the end of the year too.
