So basically every game I'm interested in is getting delayed. Get ready, next up is Firewatch, then Deus Ex and the second Dishonored, then they'll somehow decide to cancel Horizon.
Deus Ex was already delayed till August.

ReCore got delayed, no surprised there.

Those old school light gun games came out this week: Wild Gunman, Bayou Billy, and Hogan's Alley from the NES Zapper series to the WiiU virtual console! I plan to get all 3.

Also, check this girl's retro collection out:

checking out destiny. It's much improved, but the power creep is real and most of the currency is stuff that wasn't there before. If I get bored I just might buy one of the DLCs
Looks like the CoD World League has begun and is streaming on Twitch. COD is much more fun watching than playing xD

Want your video gaming on Sportscenter? It might happen...

Such a clickbait article. Nowhere do they say in the article that ESPN is broadcasting any events let alone Smash. Just mentions they are adding online coverage and the events to the calendar (which a lot of people mistook as them broadcasting all those events)

A few of the last amiibos I really want went up for PO today

Roy:

Played him a lot in Melee, and I like him a lot in Smash4. Just so satisfying to flame sword someone!

Ryu:

Never really played any of the Street Fighter games but his character in Smash, and the stage that came with him, were so cool I had to buy them as DLC. I might even go for 2 so I can paint one in his black gee with yellow head band ala Cobra Kai from Karate Kid LOL.

"Famicom" ROB in North America box:

I actually like playing ROB a lot in Smash. I already have a true Japanese import of him and the standard NA version. But to have a NA "Famicom" colored one in English box art was a little too cool to pass up.
Just started getting back into gaming with "my son's" Christmas present-Battlefront edition PS4-. *bows head-Thank you Lord for a son who likes games*. It's now a father son activity. I'M A GOOD DAD! Lol

Destiny-should've made public firestorm teams default...got a couple hours in, not hooked
NBA 2K16-movie is kinda cool but mostly annoying. LOVE MyPlayer. Would love it more if more college
Helldivers-EPIC. LOVE this. Great because it can be a family event or online multiplayer that works very well (hint: Destiny). Very challenging; humorous
Battlefront-aside from a couple duals with the son, haven't really played it that much. Looks great though
Gauntlet-kinda cool
Rocket League- surpringly addictive
COD3- OMG never have I felt more old and incapable than in COD3 multiplayer. I am the deer during hunting season

Okay, I have the Uncharted bundle. Never played any of the titles previously. SO disappointed after all the great reviews. Having trouble getting into it, but I want to like it

We also have a WII U. Great for family gaming. SSBros is EPIC fun with the family! The girls love the Just Dance series (think we might have them all?). Mario Kart is of course fun.
I have a Wii U, but want a PS4 or Xbox One. I've had only Xbox and Xbox 360. Which system should I get, I've heard great things about both.

Either is fine. I voted PS4 for more users (online play) and very slightly more power. For me, it came down to if my son wanted Halo5 or not. He had a PS3 so PS4 was a natural progression.
I'm jealous of Halo and Smite though.
Bloodborne, PS4, looks great but the difficulty isn't something I have time for

Kids are gone today and I'm off work. Played Battlefront. New favorite game. Awesome. Only neg is how long it takes to get into an active lobby for multiplayer

The multiplatforms games are using the PS4 as principal dev-system too, I think. But I don't believe the optimization has great difference.

I would recommend to choose based on exclusives.

What games you got on the U? It would be cool to have some Smash or MK8 players to go against from here!

You must not be playing Smash and MK8 right.... those games can cause fights LOL.

If you got Smash and MK8 I wouldn't mind playing against some folks here.

I have both those games. They're a lot of fun:

Just power through the first game, that's what I had to do (along with the first Halo) then it gets good!

Yep, the second is one of the best games I've ever played (up there with Ocarina of Time, FF7, and Metroid Prime for me) and the third has two of the coolest playable set pieces I have ever seen in a video game.

Also, I really wish they gave the option to skip that Spike Lee movie thing entirely in 2k. I absolutely hated it, which is terrible because after that was done the MyPlayer mode is one of the best individual career modes produced and I was just burned out because of all the damn cut scenes. I'm also a big fan of the customization in the MyGM mode, and I too wish they had a more robust college experience however, they had to fight tooth and nail just to get the licences for those 8 schools with all of the active litigation. I've been jonesing for a College Basketball game since 2008, and that just added to the itch.

COD has become a game that can't be jumped into anymore. It is essentially the same game, albeit with extremely small gameplay tweaks, so all of the people who picked up the original Modern Warfare back in 2007 (I played that with fraternity brothers in my room in college...I feel old now) and have played every subsequent iteration are essentially pros and can't be touched. Battlefront is a much better step-in game as a large portion of the playing population got it because of the Star Wars tie-in and not because of the FPS/online gameplay so you have way more recreational players.

I just replayed the original Mirrors Edge and bought the ND Collection when Amazon Prime had it discounted in preparation for the two big ones coming up soon...on that note, anyone who buys more than a few games should get Prime with their new 20% off discount on all pre-orders of video games, which essentially makes every 5th game free with the savings accrued.

EDIT: As you seem to be a bit of an adult gamer, what with children and all, if you played Mist or Riven growing up on PC< I'd definitely check out The Witness, which is coming out this Tuesday. It's a spiritual successor to those games, a large island exploration/puzzle game which really looks fun.
