A local writer torched Petrino and Louisville. I suspect this will hurt them in the all the major 4A power areas of SC (Charlotte suburbs, Greenville-Spartanburg, Columbia, Charleston, Myrtle).

Im sure everyone has plenty ammunition to use against Patrino. Looking back to 2010 at our recruiting classes we have 2 players from SC & 3 from NC combined. Those are total numbers, not per class. The Cards have pulled more recruits from Cal than SC. I would be more concerned about this if it was Fla, Geo or Ala. We have strong ties in those states so I dont see it spilling over. That may be another reason as to why Colburn was selected to grey shirt, he isn't from one of the Cards key recruiting grounds. Also Nick Dawson one of the Cards best LB is from SC so he may be able to smooth things over with some recruits there.

As far as Kap, its just some friendly banter among some budding rivals.

Clemson is the hated team in SC by most of its pop. There appears to be a reason.07-coffee3

Yes. Columbia is a monstrously huge diploma factory with enormous enrollment. If you want to major in "interdisciplinary studies" or "underwater basket weaving" or some other liberal arts diploma that leads to a career path as a barista, and you want that in state tuition cost, Chickenland is it. No other public in the state is big enough to have the laugher majors. If you want a "traditional" liberal arts path only good enough to ultimately have a career in education ... but want the "big school" and/or urban campus experience and in state tuition .... Chickenland is again the only game in town.

But then they'll also look and see that Louisville took all that NFL level talent and still finished 3rd in their division and got beat by 23 in their bowl game.

Not to mention they'll also look and see that Petrino has no morals.

Since you care so much about what high school coaches think, heres one that really matters to UL. There are more roster players here from this one hs than the entire state of SC since 2010.
