There's arena parking for $5-10 or street parking around Jefferson's for free. Either would work.

Agree 200% The last 2 times of trying to watch a game ends up listening to David Crane which is what I do when I watch a game but I want to see the game as well. Get with the program ASN

This will be my first visit to the Round House (if they still call it that) since December 29, 1988. UAB played Kent State that night in the first round of the "Coca Cola Classic." We all waved "500" placards in honor of what was supposed to be Coach Bartow's 500th win, but things didn't work out like we'd hoped.

He got his 500th win the next night against Tennessee State, but I didn't get to stay. I listened to Gary Sanders call that game from home.

I've still got the "500" placard somewhere. It's sort of a depressing artifact from what was one of the more painful losses of those early years.

Hoping for a better result tonight.
