Wow, what a tough schedule. I don't see but a couple of winables. And I thought our schedule was tough, but we at least get TCU, UC and UH @ home. 3 tough ones, but we play well in Dallas. Hope you guys pick off a couple more of those OOC games.
lol, CyberBull.
NCState is really in rough shape. I think they should be manageable, especially at home.
6-6 ( 4-4)
.500 at best
USF is going to do better than most think. They will go bowling just by the virtue of all the talent the bus driver brought in. I think they compete for the AAC title in 2016.
I have em at 5-7 with a big upset vs Cinci

Trilogies always end with thr big bad going down. Season1 is done, 2 to go.
USF was baaad last year, but I don't expect the rebound to take long given the amount of talent at their disposal. I see 6-6 to 8-4 honestly, with losses at Wisconsin and Cincinnati and between 2 and 4 of ECU, Maryland, Houston, and UCF.
6-6 with an upset of UCF to end the season and become bowl eligible.

3-9.
5-7
im not sure what to expect to expect from usf

why they could be decent:
coaches second year and the system he wants will be more imbedded
coach had drastic improvement year 2 at old job
they are dramatically out recruiting everyone

why they could be bad:
the offense was horrific last year (didnt score 1 offensive td in 50% of the games), even with improvements an improved version of last years offense could still be horrible
they wee stacked last year (in comparison to the lreague) especially on defense and did nothing with it
everything good about last years team besides the kicker is gone, was shaw, dede and a few more D guys (a bad team on paper getting worse)
despite monster recruiting the biggest question wasnt answer (which was qb)

literally before recruiting was finished i had them dead last. now im not sure..will depend on how much taggart can improve white or bench at qb. with a deep roster like theirs, decent qb play could be the difference
Honestly schedule looks manageable to me. Mainly because many of the tougher games are at home. Maryland, nc st, ECU, ucf, Houston all at home. If USF takes the step a lot of us are expecting, bowl eligibility is very realistic.

It's virtually impossible to bring in the level of talent taggart is bringing in and not improve some.
I think USF is my surprise team for the year. CWT is getting some talented players over there, it's just a matter of how quickly they can develop. It's unfortunate they drew all four of the alleged AAC contenders for this year (Cincinnati, ECU, UCF, and Houston) to go along with three BCS conference OOC opponents. I see 5 wins, 4 losses, and 3 tossups. They will be pumped to face us after last year.

I think they make it to 6-6, 7-5 best case scenario. You can pick the tossups.

vs. Western Carolina - Win
vs. Maryland - tossup
vs. NC State - tossup
vs. UConn - Win
@ Wisconsin - Loss
vs. East Carolina - Loss
@ Tulsa - Win
@ Cincinnati - Loss
vs. Houston - Loss
@ SMU - Win
@ Memphis - Win
vs. UCF - tossup

PS. Pretty nice home slate.
Anywhere from 5 to 7 wins is what I expect
Once White became the QB the USF offense actually started to look competent. I think USF could end up being a surprise this year.

I somewhat agree with this. USF offense looked OK at times in the second half of season once White took over, especially against Houston and UCF. White threw for 300+ yds against UH. Offense was beyond terrible the first half with Eveld and Floyd, who are now gone from team. Both were 1AA or DII level QB's at best. The jury is still out on Steven Bench. I don't think he got a completely fair shake...he just started to get playing time, then got injured last year. He could be a wild card. Lit it up during the spring. And don't forget about 4* Dual Threat QB Quinton Flowers, true freshman, being brought in. He might have so much athletic ability, that they have to find a way to get him on field somehow.

Skip Holtz was such a terrible recruiter, he left the cupboard extremely bare at the all essential QB position, and Taggart has had to replenish the position, which is still a work in progress.
