Seriously guys? Somebody came on this board and said that Channel 3 reported both the OC and DC one week before anyone else even mentioned either name. I posted the link here as proof that the poster was indeed correct. Ed Kengerski nailed it.

Actually DB floated both the Rb coach from Delaware (FCS ) as our new OC and the DC hire, also from the FCS . I credit you as man enough to admit it at the time. The point of my post was to note DB knows a helluva lot more from his distant venue then folks like Buttons who go off on uncomfortable rants trying to suggest he's closer to WMU than DB therefore knows more when DBs brought something to the table that Buttons never did nor could. It's actually embarrassing that Buttons exclaims his proximity as a benefit and still knows nothing

I'll give credit where credit is due. And credit goes to Ed Kengerski on this one. Not some guy in Denver, Colorado that heard it from a guy, who heard from a guy, who heard it from a guy, who might have watched Channel 3. Either way, the dates don't lie.

That's from my sources, but not verified, if fact, they're qualifying it as WOTS themselves, but in saying that, have been 100% accurate when they feel secure enough to say something to me.

So let me get this straight Persky. You're saying that it's likely that DB got his information 3rd or 4th hand after someone saw Ed Kengerski say it on WWMT (nearly a month ago), and you're not buying the idea that DB has a mole within the program who loves him so much he rings him up and gives him the scoop?

My question would be, what's in it for the mole. People don't part with inside info unless they're getting something in return. For example, let's say DB is a big donor, along the lines of a Tom Cole (car coach, money guy, big donor). The trading of inside info keeps that donor happy. I doubt DB falls into that category. Which begs the question...........why give inside info to a guy in Denver, who is known to splash it all over the schools primary web board.

His point (with evidence) that it was on WWMT nearly a month ago seems to lend some hard credence to his point that the news was out there a LONG TIME before you brought it up here, "as mega top secret insider info"

Has nothing to do with you're not local, and everything to do with "why would a mole within the program risk his job to spill info to a guy in Denver who has nothing to give back in return."

Good for him! This web board is a joke. Everyone that is associated with WMU knows it. The fact is, Persky is too big a fan, and wants to talk about WMU sports constantly, so he can't help himself but discuss them here. Almost no actual info is posted here that is actual news, its all taken 2nd hand. Don't believe me, there are plenty of people from here that i have private messaged/chatted and shared info with cause i refused to post it on the actual board, cause from day one, the difference between us and DB, we put our name behind what we say.
