Our student support is absolutely dismal. It has gotten so so bad. What an embarassment. Do they have any leadership anymore?

EDIT (to be fair, I didn't go to the GSU game....for no other reason than I just didn't feel like driving over to watch us lose...first time I have skipped a game for no reason in a loooooong time)
If ODU was as bad as they are this year I probably wouldn't be an ODU bball fan right now. I can hardly blame the students for not wanting to sit through this.
The student support has always been average to poor for decades. No amount of winning will fix that.

It was! That was back when they had bands, face painting, free beer in the BBR, and bbqs behind the Ted before games and Dr. Runte was president. We actually had a decent college basketball campus atmosphere back then.
Yep, I agree completely.
In the mid 2000's our student section was as good as its ever been.
The monarch maniacs were solid, we even has jean vest guy etc. the student section today is absolutely pathetic but most of the blame for that goes to Blaine Taylor.
It's not just the losing that keeps the students away, it's also the boring, ugly and slow pace of basketball we play.
Casual fans like winning and excitement. It's why Bobby is kicking arse and taking names right now and Blaine can barely get d-1 recruits to come here.
We need a new "bobby" for basketball!!!! One who doesn't show up drunk to the coach's show!!

Unfortunately, yes. Only game that he wasn't at (to my knowledge) was VCU.
