Wait. Last week Bret Bielema was the most classless coach in college football. Now it's Tom Amstutz?

Get in touch with reality folks. We suck, they can't help but score. It's been awhile since we've been in these situations, but this is how it is. Teams don't take a knee when they're up by 40 points.
Anderson has 998 yards on the season and Joe won't give him a carry ... bullsh*t

I think this team gave up after Wisconsin kicked our a$$.

true but why leave your starting QB in so late in the game up by 50 points or whatever it was? That is running up the score. Tuck Foledo. Screw Amputz.

Generally play-action play calling goes out of the playbook when you are up by 50, not in the playbook of Coach Am-big-gut-z

Probably some truth in that, at least it appears so.

Please, enlighten us with what IS acceptable then. Is anything ok but a handoff up the middle for you with the third stringers in? 01-wingedeagle
sit the first string down....they have shown to be BUMS! give the other young'ns a shot
i want toledo to score 100 points. if this team has given up and isn't trying anymore, they better be embarrassed and deserve to have 100 points hung on them.
Although i do feel we still have some young/injured talent on this roster for the next few seasons...i worry about a DREADFUL season like this making the program completely fold for a few years...that thought scares me

Cleaning house and showing this coaching staff the door will be a pre-emptive strike to the program folding.

"JOE MUST GO! JOE MUST GO! JOE MUST GO! JOE MUST GO! JOE MUST GO!"
I think epasnoppy hit it on the head. The physical beating from WI has pretty much put the injured riddled huskie team into the turtle. A depleted team took a week off this week. You can blame the coaches some for that, but the players phoned this one in. In a way its hard to blame them, I cant imagine how hard it must be to stay competitive with all the injuries.
I am now numb!

it could be worse...highest score in college football history:

Georgia Tech beat Cumberland (TN) 222-0 on October 7, 1916.

Well, you can definitely tell it's because they gave up. Unless someone thinks Toledo is better than Wisconsin.
