"Pre cook" is a ridiculous way to measure it.

Doubt that it's "well" above. But you also get much more meat in a hamburger than at McDonald's where all the patties but the quarter pounder are 1/10 of a pound pre-cook. Wendy's singles are a quarter pound pre cook.
True and McDonald's hamburger has lost the " hamburger" taste. Maybe its my taste buds but its not a beef taste. Especially the 1/4 pounder.
At times my 5 year old grandson refuses to eat the things he ate and loved (autism trait) during those times he will eat a Mcd hamburger and fries 70% of those times. Yesterday I tried the qter pounder for the first time in years....
did not come close to a beef taste

if in a pinch and fast crap is the only option, it's either Checkers or Wards (the latter is available only in the 'sip) ... both of those chains understand why meat to bun ratio is important as they both remain in the 'acceptable' category ...

I guess its the same as Hardees and Carls. Three, maybe four years ago, I ate at Wards. Wish we had one.

is that what it's called in KY ... it's still Checkers down here ... IIRC, that franchise was borne in StL ... it's kinda weird the only two fast food joints I currently enjoy started in the only two towns I've resided...
yeah, Ward's is tough to match in quality/bang for the buck...

Should be pretty cheap in our town then - nobody goes there.

Rally's in KY and I passed one last night (Panama City Beach) called Checker with the same Big Bufford meal deal that we had back home. Now that is a hamburger....

I'm thinking with the delivery services, these places can't handle the lunch rush anymore. So, instead of adding more people, they do this.
Its weird that you go into a fast casual place and there are 3 of us in line but the doordash section is almost overflowing waiting to get picked up.

I’m thinking all that will happen is people will eliminate Wendy’s from their lunch and dinner rotation—-and just consider them as an option during off hours. Lyft and Uber can get away with that because they dont really have a lot of competition. Wendy’s does. It’s easy for customers to just scratch them from the list of lunch and dinner options. There are fast food burger joints everywhere—as well as other chain and independent fast food options. I don’t see this working out for them.

yep, that's her ... the Big Buford is bad-arse...
apparently, the franchise 'brand' is akin to Krystals and White Castle...
I tossed 3 lbs ground chuck on the grill last night (9 burgers) ... onions, bacon, butter was used to compliment the beef...
that'll last me thru the week....

Checkers was formed in Mobile and Rally’s was formed in Louisville. It looks like their current headquarters is in Tampa.
