St John’s moved 4 spots from 38 to 34 after beating a 3-27 #322 DePaul. Another example the NET is a fraud

Quote:This season’s 14-team version of the league has an average NET ranking of 137.9 as of Friday. That’s not only behind the obvious power leagues – Big 12, Big Ten, SEC, ACC, Pac-12 and Big East – it also trails the Mountain West, the Atlantic-10 and even the Missouri Valley Conferences.

I legit believe that USF 3-1 finish gets them on the bubble and I’ll even say in as the last 4 in.

Even with that NET.

I also believe Memphis has bubble possibilities

Best case scenario is FAU, SMU, USF in the semifinals with Memphis. A SMU/Memphis vs USF final. That has the best chance of us getting three in especially with a Memphis win against FAU to finish the regular season.

Memphis is 5th or 6th seed depending on who wins between SMU and UAB. If UAB wins, SMU ties Memphis but loses the tie breaker which takes three steps. H2h they split, then it goes to record versus the highest team in the standings until a tie is broken. They both lost to USF but Memphis split with FAU and would get the 5th seed. If SMU wins, UAB wins the tie breaker because they're the only team to have beaten USF.
