The ACC could obviously look quite different in 6 years, but we’re very confident that we’ll be a strong contributor for the ACC at that point, for so many reason. And for all the ‘deep pockets’ types that proudly flaunt their wealth and resources (much of it is tongue-in-cheek but good for them), the majority of us are Pony die hards that don’t fit into that category and simply support our teams in different ways.

I certainly did not.

That said, I'd recommend turning it down a few notches. YES, SMU is making a lot of noise, which probably feels good after all those years... but they still haven't won a single ACC basketball or football game yet. Bragging about money without actually winning anything sounds like those Big Ten guys.
