I think UGA likely wins - but not due to being more motivated. FSU has the biggest gripe (and point to prove) of any. Problem is, they won't have their qb.

Rinky dink is as rinky dink does...
Even the Rose Bowl is nothing now without the playoff. I think it’s part of it this year. Just wait and see how many players opt out. The bowls jump the shark when the playoffs went to 4 teams. And it’s going to be even worse starting next year. The only thing that’s the same in college football is that it’s basically the same 10 schools winning. Even Washington has a history of winning.
There won't be 6-6 or 7-5 teams playing in major bowls. You will at least on paper get a matchup if actual bowl worthy teams.
Sure, now that there is the 6-bowl rotation - if a bowl isn't hosting one of the national semi-final games it's kinda down but the FSU - Georgia game is still pretty good for example.
The only one of the 6 that got really screwed this year is the one that got stuck with Liberty out of CUSA - the team that went undefeated against the 132nd ranked schedule in the country (out of 133).
Liberty is going to get destroyed, and it’s just going to reinforce the anti-G5 bias.
Of course the bias is already there. But I don't think bowl results matter much. Tulane won the Access last year. Where did that get them or any of us?
I think Tulane's Cotton Bowl win got them ranked in the early polls, based on last years results. Then when they lost to ole miss, they dropped out for 5 weeks before reappearing. You know how hard it is for a G5 to get in the polls if you don't start out in the top 25, right? That's the game they play....

RE: AAC Champion
Took us 5 weeks in 2019 after going 8-6 the year before.
