RE: Last 4 weeks of the East race...
Problem JMU has is genning up sympathy for their circumstance.
How much more leeway should be granted given the impact of covid exemptions on the transition roster.
Kinda the elephant in the room. The asterisks.

No wonder they called that elephant Dumbo. BTW, it’s all relative, everyone had extra scholarship players. Instead of taking 63 FCS partial-scholarships against FBS teams with 85 full scholarships they took somewhere in the low 70s to schools that had in the 90s and still aren’t at 85 yet while those schools have gotten down to 85.

FCS as I understand it 63 full scholarships or partial scholarships could be spread out or allocated to 85.
At some point rotating a starting line up becomes negligible.
No way to know if any advantage resulted from the situation but yea that's why it's an astrisk.

Yet you’re implying they had an advantage getting up from 63 to 85 and competing when those at 85 had that same advantage and were over 85. If anything, with 130 programs at the time of transitioning hoarding extra players over the normal 85 means less to go around for them to load up on.

JMU 41 - GS 13
I’d say that answers your question. It won’t be GS

I guess you’re speaking about your fans and team’s season/current situation because there aren’t any JMU fans that fit your description.

You really think there aren’t butthurt JMU fans? My god, go to pretty much any thread having to do with the championship game, or even the realignment board. The statement keeps getting posed over and over by JMU fans how they should be in the title game and not anyone else, and that they’ll put and asterisk by it forever. I get being upset, as the rule is stupid, but get over it already. There are many of you that are butthurt about it.

JMU is good this season, if they do it again next season they’ll have a chance at a championship.
NOW back to the thread topic…this week should make the east race much clearer.
