We should stop using it regarding our SHSU semi-final loss....awful, pathetic loss - to that weeny of a coach. Gotta move on

RE: Troy needs revenge on JMU
Honestly I am confused on what happened with this thread. I guess I haven't been reading close enough but I'll say JMU beat Troy fair and square and was the better team on that given Saturday. Who knows if we played again and hoping we see each other sooner rather than later on the gridiron again.
I'm still more pissed about last year's loss to App than I am with JMU. I still want revenge against them.

It has nothing to do with the game as much as it has to do with their stupid ass comments and mockery. But hey what do I know, I’m just a fan of a team that got beat by a fcs transition team.

Yeah, you’re right I did. I don’t recall saying anything bad about JMU. So what’s the problem?
You said this in a different thread’ “ A rematch would be the best championship game the Belt could produce this year and would be a great showcase for the league. Wish it could happen”
That was the whole point in this thread….
And almost every single JMU fan has been very complimentary about Troy since that game.
When many of your fans were ready to jump off a ledge and cut Watson, our fans were saying you’d win the West.
And have continued to say you are the best team we’ve faced all year.
Look around, people like to point the finger at JMU fans all the time, but it takes two to tango. The amount of daggers that our slung at us all year from all directions is like a Game of Thrones episode.
It’s all good though. I’m a fan of Troy, the team this year and program. You all have been massively underrated in the polls and rankings out there all year.
If we go 12-2 again this year there’s a good chance we are both ranked at the end of the year

That would be amazing.
And would show how much this league has improved in the last two years.
Should only continue to get better.
I’ve seen packed houses at JMU, app, Marshall, ga southern, Troy, Texas state, southern miss. That looks good on tv and for recruits.
Just gotta keep building and hopefully one day two ranked teams won’t be such a surprise, but the norm.

not that I think it would happen because we have a rough road ahead, but I would love it more for GS to be the 12-2 and ranked one instead of Troy.

I think y’all will be in the CCG but that’s my gut feeling. Could be a big one if both our teams are playing. Hopefully in TROY.

really hope so (except for the in Troy part). I just don't see GS winning out the rest of the way but hopefully win enough to make it to CCG. 3 of 4 on the road AT TXST, Appy, and Marshall will be a *****.

Only good thing about GS hosting would be Savannah at Christmas time. I know the game is December 2nd, but I'm sure the decorations will be up by then. Otherwise, the home of the SBC championship should be Troy.
