Congrats to the Green Wave and condolences to the Mean Green. It was a hell of a comeback attempt.

Still alot of football to play this season. AF looked terrible against a bad Navy. A mediocre Navy QB and they win that game.
But these 2nd half homecoming collapses, now two years in a row are enraging!
At the end of the season all that matters are the W's. It might've been ugly but we went 1-0 this week.

We have to build/buy a defense first.

There's a lot.of football left to play. Nobody cares about Memphis, why are you even bringing them up in this thread. If UNT is dreadful, that most mean Memphis is complete and total ass judging by the last 2 weeks

True, but Tulane does not control its own destiny. I did not want to bring it up, but the fact is the former C-USA6 have performed miserably in OOC play and harmed the profile of good AAC teams.
Concerning the Memphis mention, the Tigers played Tulane last week in an emotional win for the Wave. Tulane looked flat today.
Do you seriously believe North Texas has had a more successful season than Memphis? SMH.

I wrote Tulane likely ended its NY6 quest today and I think an objective evaluation supports my opinion. Believe me, I hope Tulane reps the AAC for the better good of the entire conference.
Unfortunately, not all wins are created equal. Quality matters, also.

FWIW, Tulane LOST this exact type of game last year.
UNT has a couple of dangerous WRs. They just need to clean up a very bad defense and they're set to win 8 or so in the future.

Tulane played around too much in this game....late in the 2nd quarter they should have kept doing what had worked easily for them instead of going for the "big hit" on offense and not getting it and turning the ball back over.....some first downs would have made a difference much less even a field goal
instead they were throwing bombs or trying to get chunks of yardage and not getting it done.....3 and 4 yards was there easily and they refused to take it

Whatever you state, I will not dispute since you know your team far better than me and you are a rational poster.

I think we end with two losses and a good P5 bowl game that isn't the NY6. They have lost a step, but only just one. This is still a good team.

Tulane beat UNT by 7 at home. Memphis lost to Tulane by 10 in Memphis. I don't see where Memphis' loss looks any better than UNT's.
Memphis has to travel to Denton next Saturday. Are you that confident Memphis will win?

The expectations are different for a team rebuilding with an entirely new coaching staff and scheme. I'm more concerned with making progress than judging the entire season. Given the context of this and the performances of the past two weeks (memphis losing by 10 at home, UNT losing by 7 on the road), i'd say yes, UNT has been more successful
that said, coming into another team's game thread to talk **** and promote your own team is cringey as hell man, especially when you can't even back it up

Things started coming together the second half of our UAB game, and I like our chances. Is it a lock? Absolutely not, but I expect a very strong showing from the Tigers.

Came to give congrats to Tulane and of course it’s full of Memphis fans bringing the room down. It’s like we have to know at all times that Tiger fans hate everything, regardless of the thread.
Anyway, Gratz Tulane.

It is easy to exceed expectations if one sufficiently lowers the bar. North Texas' bar must be set an ant level to view defeats as victories.
Honestly, I am disappointed with your answer. I thought you cared about winning - the object of the game. I assure you I do not see progress for the Tigers when Memphis lost to Missouri and Tulane like expected by Vegas. Carry on.....
