North Texas takes their conference best offense into New Orleans to face #23 Tulane. ESPN gives Tulane a 91.4% chance of winning the game. UNT's defense played better last week, but that was against Temple.

Does that count?

I'm counting it, because it's the only time this season that our defense has actually looked like a respectable defense. And, it might be the last. With just an average defense, North Texas would probably be 5-1.

The UNT offense is no joke. Chandler has mastered the O and audibles to the right call at the line of scrimmage. While I don't think North Texas wins today, I do expect us to cover the spread.

I was messing with you, having watched the SMU game last night.

I checked in on it. I'm betting that with the Phillies hosting the NLCS down the road, and with the Rangers and Astros playing game 5 of the ALCS back in Dallas, the viewership numbers for ESPN will be terrible. Probably should have placed a different AAC game in that slot.
UNT with an early notch already, getting the game thread up as a road team against the defending champs and first place team (well, first place before SMU won last night).

Is Tulane overlooking UNT and already focused on next week’s long awaited showdown at Rice Stadium?

Did Tulane forget this was a league game?

Does Tulane just not have that many fans on here?

Tulane is ranked and has the inside track on the AAC title and maybe even the NYD6.

UNT is not out of the AAC race either, 1-1, just sayin.
Also one more and I’ll hang up and listen….

It’s the mean GREEN vs the GREEN wave?

Tulane has BLUE helmets and UNT has BLACK.

“It’s not easy being green” trophy game with Kermit the Frog wearing just an apron?

Chandler will have to put on a masterclass for quarterbacking today. He will have to not only make the right audibles at the line, but manage the clock. UNT's best defense will be Chandler's ability to sustains long scoring drives. Basically, our offense has to minimize our defense's time on the field. It's sad but it's the only shot North Texas has today.
So anyone watching this game?

I'm in the stadium watching Tulane play with its food.
I have Tulane picked to win, but UNT is looking much better than expected.
Wow, horrible fumble.
ROLL WAVE! 14-0
UNT's defense has not been solid, but it has gotten a few big plays. UNT's offense needs to pick up the pace. We are still in this thing.

Not even close to over, but some fires need to be lit.
Strong response from the secondary.
Pratt is the difference. Hell of a pass.
Fritz using the timeouts to get Tulane the ball and a chance to drive for 3 scores. This is a level of aggressiveness we never saw out of Willie in the past. He was always happy to take a lead and the "high road" into half.

Very happy to see him take it up to the next level. Tulane is gonna need some blowout victories for the NY6 race this year against a mediocre AAC.

This has been a complaint regarding Silverfield. I feel like he turned a corner today and never let off the pressure. Hope we get a rematch in the CCG.
Our receivers have to stop dropping balls. And our line needs to open some holes for our backs.
