What if Hall wins out the rest of the year, does that change keep him or fire?

I'm not sure that any scenario changes my opinion. The crowd Saturday seems to confirm that the damage is done, and a change needs to happen. Am I wrong on the crowd? I wasn't there, but on TV, and pictures I've seen, it looked horrible.

Say he wins out and we keep him...He starts out 1-4 next year and we can him mid season.... What kind of damage does that do to the program? We can't handle much more of all this BS.

I feel like he needs to go at the end of the year

I doubt he is fired. I feel there'll be a shake up in his staff. With his contract ending in 25 (as my understanding), I doubt he'll be relieved of his duties, but I do expect a change in staff.

DOB hasn't improved the Defense in fact I feel like they're two steps back from last season. I would be looking here. Offense wins games, but Defense wins championships.

Sam Gregg is listed as the OL/OC. I remember when he left Liberty several LU fans were happy because their line had regressed under him, and I have to say I haven't seen anything from our OL that makes me happy. Something here needs to change as well.

I'm not sure about Jordy Joseph yet. I feel like I heard during the broadcast Saturday that he was calling the plays solo against ULM.

But if I was a betting man, Hall has to sacrifice some coaches and if there's no improvement, another log is on the fire and he done at the end of next season unless we can come up with the funds.

I feel like firing him would be a big mistake. It would just start another reset. All evidence is that he works hard and has tremendous passion for the program. I just watched the press conference from after Saturday's game. Listen to those players talk about Hall, and Hall about them. The confidence in all interviewed. As bad as the year is going, maybe it's just one of those things. There's been lots of injuries on defense for sure. Anyway, I encourage you to watch that video as part of evidence gathering for where we are as a program. Knee jerk firing and hiring could make things worse.

The injuries concern me and the depth at those positions where we're using receivers to play as DBs. Granted I don't know the injuries, but Lance Ancar needs to be called to carpet and find out if he's doing things to prevent injuries through his S&C program.

You may be right, but the Defense and the OL were issues before the injuries. How many QBs did we go through the last couple of seasons because of injuries? Luckily Wiles is mobile and reacts quickly.

Passion doesn't win games. There are a lot of passionate people who care a ton about their coaching jobs who just aren't good at it.

I mean the other thought I have is that everyone was calling for Ladner before last season and it was turned around. I don't really like the thought of resetting again, but how much money can we afford to lose with an empty stadium. I don't see any way that we beat Troy or MSU.

Vs Troy, definitely not.. That's an uphill battle. Troy has a stingy defense and we have swiss holes in our line.. Any competent offense can find the holes in our Defense.

What frustrated me on Saturday and I might've missed it, but it looked like we ran one pass over the middle, scored, and then we went back to throwing to the sides.

We need to run play action.

Did anyone catch the TAMU vs Ole Miss game Saturday afternoon? The QB for A&M ran a play action and sold it, even to the color commentary and had he not overthrown his receiver, it would've been a top play of the day.

Shake up on the staff would that include the S&C Coach? I know everyone loves his attitude, but are our guys up to the season too many injuries looks like we wear down during the game. I'm not sold on this guy anymore.

He's a Hall guy too.. He and Hall played football together at UNA I believe. He was Hall's center.

Don't get me wrong, I like Ancar, but I agree.

One right hire can right a ship. Cardona has certainly recruited and turned around the team, but we've yet to see if it was a flash in a pan or not. I hope not.

You saying we need a new OC and DC?
