Lol at anyone criticizing App State attendance. Now I've seen it all. I guess that goes to show you can find ways to claim inflated numbers for anyone.

Also always important to keep in mind how hard it is to hit a time where you don't have a good chunk of attendees away from their seats. Especially in college, you get a ton of late arrivers from tailgating and then a ton of early leaving students. Not to mention how bad concessions can get some places, I'm sure we aren't the only ones with that problem. Go out to the concourse at any given time from about 20 minutes pregame until the stadium empties and it's always packed at JMU. UVA was the same way.

Overall just about everything in attendance needs to be taken with at least a small grain of salt whether it's reported attendance or a "look at all the empty seats" pic at any given time. App State attendance though? Come on now

And the NCAA no longer cares or else they wouldn’t permit a program like Sam Houston State with their D3 looking stadium (14k capacity) and usual crowd of ~7k to transition to FBS when they used to require a minimum of 15k/game.
