It looked like we were playing a freaking Semi Pro side. No chance at all. 6-0

At least one of y'all scored.

as of Friday Aug 25 my Golden Eagles are the only team in the Sun Belt with a losing record as well as the only team without a win yet. 03-hissyfit 03-hissyfit 03-hissyfit
Hopefully that changes tomorrow as we play Ms Valley who hasn't won a game since 2019

just noticed the match time was at 11 am on Thursday. What was the reasoning behind an 11 am start time for a midweek contest???

USM has moved their start time today from 4 pm to 530 pm as temps at 4 pm are suppose to be around 104. Still gonna be right at 100 at 530 but at least the setting sun will be shielded the 2nd half for the most part as it's pretty much dark by 8 pm when temps will still be around 93

We don’t have lights and the game was scheduled for 3pm…our coach tried to get Jackson St to move the game to 9am but they refused and compromised on 11am. By then it was oppressively hot. Finished the 1st half and came out for the 2nd half. EMTs on site recommended to the ref not to play the 2nd half as heat index on the field was 110 and getting hotter. Ref called the SBC office to get their opinion and the office told the ref it was his call. Ref was not comfortable to continue playing based on medical advice.

Originally it was a 3pm game but the Heat Index would have made that impossible. The hope was playing at 11am would avoid the worst of the heat. No lights on that field, so night games aren't possible.
