RE: Streaming Only Media Deal
Streaming only is an exposure nightmare. I can understand the frustration with mid-week games, especially if they are relegated to ESPNU and CBSSN, but it would have to be a lot of money to go streaming only and with the streaming bubble starting to burst I just don't see the networks paying that much.

10 years ago I might have agreed with that but with everything streaming now (aside from limited national braodcasts) not on network I'd rather go with an Amazon Prime or a Netflix for more cash, if an offer like that is available.

Or mix FOX into the TV deal for more national TV exposures in FB and BB.

The MAC can do better than the present IMO.

I said the same thing about CUSA's rights, but the problem is Netflix and Amazon aren't interested. The platforms that might be don't have a broad enough reach to be worth it in my opinion. Netflix would have to be willing to pay what ESPN does and be willing to promote the content to the landing page. Not sure the juice is worth the squeeze for them.

Exactly.

Netflix went for the WWE 'Raw', Amazon went for NFL Thursday Night Football.

As far as "add Fox to the mix", getting a spot on FS2 isn't really an upgrade over CBSSN or ESPNU.

More overall TV linear exposures with Fox, CBS and ESPN, especially in BB.

What is your solid information indicating that Fox might be wanting to acquire MAC level ESPN+ FB and MBB games to put them on FS1 or Fox OTA?

Or is the Fox side of that just more wishful thinking?
