All the high school and travel coaches love him and have relationships with him. Sad to see him go. He was getting big time recruits to come to Memphis. It's a shame to lose him from our program.

Why is it sad to see him go? We've let other coaches from different sports get to bring in their staff... Sucks for Hensen, but I'm sure he knows it's part of the business.

With his qualifications I assume LSU and Florida are in a fight for his services and he is waiting until the dust settles from the CWS to decide where to go next?

We speak of the need to do a better job of recruiting locally & Julian is a local guy with great local/regional connections. If your kids have been in the travel ball circuit over the last decade, then you understand how visible a guy like Julian is. I can understand some disappointment, but also know how important staff chemistry is, and trust the new coach knows how to go out & get players.

This was a decent squad in 2019… probably his last at Dulins before moving to EBC

I wonder if Henson is why Maurice Hampton committed to finally come here?
