RE: Men's Basketball 2024 Offers
Looks like we have room for two or three more.

I fully agree with your assessment. But I am also content with the team as is… more bigs will cause the constant lineup swaps to continue. Play Legend, Billingsley, and Jihad 25-30 mpg and let them development consistency. If needed because of foul trouble, play small ball for a bit.
Hey, we need athletes and good basketball players. Toledo started four guards last year. I'm done with James Love, Axel Okongo, Moe Njie and Cyril Martynov. They are proof that 6'10" in length does not ensure success. Nate Scott and Ty Groce protected the rim far better and brought far more other talents to the table.

Terry at 6'0 gives us another option at the point and Nelson at 6'8; gives us more depth up front.

RE: Men's Basketball 2024 Offers
Sam thanks for breaking the DePaul recruits! They should be MAC ready and fit in well. I believe the team has upgraded their talent already over last years team.
More thoughts:
I would love to add Noah Farrakhan. His freshman year he played hard, shared the ball and was a player that could win a game against any level of competition when he’s on. As a freshman, Noah showed great potential! Regarding his sophomore year, I don’t blame any EMU player taking a few plays off during a game due to the frustration of running down to the offensive set only to watch Emoni jack up a highly contested 3 point shot - enough said because I don’t want to rehash that teams bad chemistry. Against Michigan, Noah dominated them and Emoni did too making ridiculous difficult shots. One thing I noticed about Noah after that game is that he was visibly sobbing from giving everything he had but ended up losing. I would take Noah back in a heart beat if he was interested.
Regarding the 7 foot centers Jerry referenced above. I wholeheartedly agree with him. We won the MAC with 6’9” centers who had athleticism and skill: Grant Long, Marcus Kennedy (6’7”) and Theron Wilson. Heck if we could get a center like Ezugwu 6’8” and 240 lbs we would definitely be in contention for a MAC tournament spot.

RE: Men's Basketball 2024 Offers
May 15 is when this signing period ends. Lets see what Heath brings in. Frankly many of the JUCOs and frosh that we offered have committed elsewhere but there's still a few out there. While recruiting in any college sport now has become a year round adventure I like to take a snapshot of the other MAC teams after May 15 to see where we are in comparison. I already like this class better than last years which outside of Arne was a disaster and is out the door already. Heath needs to do better than .500 this season in order to save his job in my opinion and we need to make it to Cleveland. To do that this recruiting class has to be solid.

Phenomenal analysis, extremely well said! These two DePaul transfers look outstanding........One year is okay for recruiting now!

Great analysis!
I would say we need a minimum 20 games in the ‘W’ column not counting D2 as wins.
We have a decent nucleus but I would like to see one more starting guard and starting center caliber players.
Martynov would be great addition as a backup role just need a starting center. Billingsley would be the starting PF. Rice will be an adequate SG backup.
Can Heath get us a starting Center and SG?
Win the MAC Lineup:
Pg Lovejoy
Sg TBD maybe Arne
SF Nelson
PF Billingsley
C TBD
Wishlist - add Sg Farrakhan
C/Pf - 6’8” 240 lbs who can get 10 points on the block
