…and thanks for the heads up, ‘79!

Based on the stats, this seems like depth. But nothing wrong with that.

Luckey, Verbal Committs has him at 5 D1 scholarship offers (including EMU and Green Bay). We were the first to offer, so he was flying under the radar till we drew attention to him. Glad it worked out.

Bovine, his second year stats of 13.8 ppg and 3.9 apg are solid but certainly not elite given the lower shooting percentage. So I agree with you for this reason and also because I don’t see him unseating Lovejoy. Nonetheless, when you look at the jump he made year 1 to year 2, so I am curious about the potential for continued decelopment in year 3 and year 4.

Highlight video of Christian Henry, if anyone is interested…

Otherwise, agree with ‘79 above, we could really use a big man next.

A big man is definitely needed. Need another shooter and an athletic wing, too.

Henry shot 35.5% from 3. That's not too bad.

For JUCO, it’s not very good.

Oh, bummer. He was exactly who we needed. A freshman big man that we can throw in there if needed, but otherwise content with limited minutes until Jihad/Billingsley graduate next year.

RamyEMU, And we lost out to a team that went 1-30 last year in UD! We might be the worst team in the MAC next season! Oh, Maybe not Akron lost their entire team, and so did Toledo! In Heath we trust........

I would hate for another big man to come in of Jihad, Legend, or Billingsley’s caliber to just dilute out minutes and cause lineup shifts. Mitchell would have been perfect as a clear 4th/last option. Which might be why he went to a 1-30 team, he will be an immediate starter at UDM. So I am not too worried about losing that race.

And I am DEFINITELY not worried about Toledo or Akron either, they always seem to have a player pipeline and will demolish EMU.

Another offer to a freshman big man. 6’8 Power Forward Chiang Ring
https://twitter.com/chiangbeastly55?ref_...r%5Eauthor

Not sure his story. Verbal Committs has him last recieving an offer from Arizona St on 09/21/23, no offers since until ours. I am hopeful.

From what I gather, both have 1 year left.

Terry averaged 8-4-2. Shot 45% from 3 on 4 attempts per game last season.

Nelson averaged 9.7-3.5-2 (in only 21 minutes).
Edit: he gets up! https://x.com/pdtscouting/status/1616931...QE3wOSA7kQ

Some decent additions for Coach Heath!

Nelson looks like the athletic wing that we need. Terry and Henry are nice additions at guard. Now we just need a few bigs.

In DePaul’s last game, Jalen Terry went for 18 points, 15 rebounds, and 5 assists (2 TOs) and hit 4/9 3 pointers against a Villanova team that was fighting for a ncaa tournament bid. Excited to see him next season.

I fully agree with your assessment. But I am also content with the team as is… more bigs will cause the constant lineup swaps to continue. Play Legend, Billingsley, and Jihad 25-30 mpg and let them development consistency. If needed because of foul trouble, play small ball for a bit.
