My guess this will turn into the Buc-ees Kolache Bowl by 2026

According to the wiki, its Big 12 #3 and ACC Tier 1. I think we should get an update on bowl order in these Spring Meetings.

This bowl is owned by Florida Citrus Sports which has an ongoing feud with UCF. Right now we are competing for tourism dollars from Orange County for stadium renovations.

So I highly doubt UCF will be in the Pop-Tarts Bowl anytime soon. Bowl games really want visiting fans to come.

Wow. This is going to be the third best bowl for the new Big 12 and it’s called the Pop Tarts Bowl on December 28? Does the champion get the Liberty Bowl?

I wonder if Cheez-it dropped bow sponsorship after the fiasco last year when Cheez-it bowl selected a 6-6 OU over a 7-5 Texas Tech team who just happened to beat OU.

Big 12 Conference

No. 1 New Year's Six. The champion goes to either the Cotton Bowl Classic, the Fiesta Bowl or the Peach Bowl unless they are selected for College Football Playoff.
No. 2 The Alamo Bowl versus Pac-12.
No. 3 The Pop-Tarts Bowl versus ACC.
No. 4 The Texas Bowl versus SEC.
No. 5 The Liberty Bowl versus SEC.
No. 6 The Guaranteed Rate Bowl versus Big Ten No. 7.
No. 7 The First Responder Bowl or Armed Forces Bowl

The non NYD Orlando bowl has been XII vs ACC for years now. The only things that have changed is the name and the fact that UCF is in the Big 12.

Seems so wrong to have a cheese cracker company sponsor a "citrus" bowl. Then again, I believe Buffalo Wild Wings did as well so that wasn't any different. At least Fed Ex (Orange) has nothing to do with food. Why not Minute Maid?

Top bowl payouts outside the NY6 last year. ACC needs better bowls

1.Alamo (8.25 million)
2.Citrus(8.22)
3. Holiday(6.5)
4.Outback(6.4) and Texas(6.4)
6. Cheez-it(6.07)
