Thursday 4/27

#4 UNCW vs #5 ULM 11:30AM
#2 Charleston vs #7 Mercer 12PM
#3 CCU vs #6 USM 1:30PM

Elimination games - 1
Winner match 1 vs winner match 2 - 3PM
Winner match 3 vs winner match 4 - 4:30PM


Winners bracket is double elimination. Once you lose, it is single elimination.
(which makes sense because you would already have one loss so, basically, it's all really double elimination)

UNCW is University of North Carolina Wilmington

I wonder how much crossover there is between Beach and Indoor Volleyball rosters at these schools? I've been hoping JMU adds this sport for years. Seems like an inexpensive sport to run and it would provide more scholarship opportunities for women.

UNCW still has the Atlantic Sun Conference logo on the back of their jerseys.

So far in the tournament, full conference members are 2-0, and partial conference members are 0-2.

I believe little to none. I don't think GSU has any players that play both. I've asked the question before and have been told they're effectively different games and success in one does not always translate to success in the other.

Though, I could be wrong. It has happened before.
